I created a mailing list manager to create a concentrated set of HTML pages that describe the methods for subscribing, unsubcribing, etc. of the various Israeli Linux-related mailing lists. I wrote it in Perl 5. Each mailing list type was specified in its own class, which were in fact inherited. Afterwards a vector of Perl 5 hash references, that specifies the individual mailing list's classes and parameters is given in the main script. One time a co-worker of mine who gave me rides from home to work and back, asked if I every found inheritance useful. (he worked mainly in Visual Basic). So I told him I used inheritance for this mailing list manager.
