“Interesting Hypothesis”

I'm probably not the first, but in order to help avoid diluting the meaning of the word "theory" in its scientific context with its casual meaning of a "hypothesis", I decided to follow Dr. Sheldon Cooper's lead and call such non-proven suspicions "hypotheses" even when talking about casual ones.
It may sound funny now but Comedy is simply a funny way of being serious.
to quote Peter Ustinov. I have a hypothesis (ha!) that large parts of the Hebrew Bible and Greco-Roman Philosophy were funny back then, only now they are considered gospel, appalling, or obvious.
